Implement a Shell Namespace Extension or anything else, over ShellBoost.

Implement a virtual drive connected to your custom backend, using Files On-Demand technology, over ShellBoost.

Write a Shell Namespace Extension using Visual Studio, ATL, and C/C++, without any relation to ShellBoost.

Write other Windows Shell extensions (context menu, preview handlers, property handlers, etc.) for you in C/C++ or .NET (some Shell extensions like Preview handlers can be written in .NET since they can run out-of-process by design) , without any relation to ShellBoost.

Port an existing legacy Windows Shell Namespace Extension to ShellBoost and benefit from modern Shell UI.
