Sample Projects
The sample projects listed below demonstrate the usage of the CBFS Shell components in a
simple, straightforward way. By default the sample projects are installed in the demos subfolder of the installation directory.
Sample Project | Description |
Folder Service | A Shell folder that demonstrates a Windows service written using CBFS Shell. |
Physical Overview | A Shell folder that uses a physical folder as a backend for all operations and demonstrates common operations such as Open/Save/Copy/Paste etc. |
Registry Folder | A Shell folder that mimics the Windows Registry Editor ("regedit.exe") with only virtual Shell items. |
ClientTool | Helper tools for Shell programming. |
Device Manager Folder | Creates a virtual folder which mimics the official Windows Device Manager. |
Mirror | Demonstrates a Namespace application mirroring a physical folder present on the disk. |
Overview | A Shell folder that contains a fixed set of virtual Shell items and folders. |
NOTE: These projects are mostly simple demos, and by no means complete applications.
They are intended to illustrate the usage of the CBFS Shell components in a
simple, straightforward way. What we are hoping to demonstrate is how simple
