Compares two secure strings by evaluating the numeric values of the corresponding character objects in each string.

Parameters

text1
Type: System.SecuritySecureString
The first secure string.
text2
Type: System.SecuritySecureString
The second secure string.
ignoreCase (Optional)
Type: SystemBoolean
if set to true case is ignored during comparison.

Return Value

Type: Boolean
true if both strings are equal, false otherwise.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type SecureString. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
