open_memory Method

Provides raw, read-only access to the system's physical memory.

Syntax

def open_memory() -> int: ...

Remarks

This method returns a handle that provides raw, read-only access to the system's physical memory.

If the memory is opened successfully, this method returns a handle for it; otherwise, if returns INVALID_HANDLE_VALUE. The returned handle, if valid, must be closed using the Windows API's CloseHandle function when the application is finished with it.

The returned handle can be used with the Windows API's ReadFile function.
