SuspendDefaultRules Method
Suspends all default rules until the application exits.
Syntax
cbregistry.suspendDefaultRules(productGUID, [callback])
Callback
The 'callback' parameter specifies a function which will be called when the operation completes (or an error is encountered). If the 'callback' parameter is not specified, then the method will block and will not return until the operation completes (or an error is encountered).
The callback for this method is defined as:
function(err, data){ }
'err' is the error that occurred. If there was no error, then 'err' is 'null'.
'data' is the value returned by the method.
'err' has 2 properties which hold detailed information:
err.code err.message
Remarks
This method suspends (i.e., deactivates) all default rules associated with the application identified by ProductGUID until the application exits. If the rules are suspended successfully, this method returns true; otherwise, it returns false.
In most cases, the value passed for the ProductGUID parameter should be the same one that was used to call the Initialize method.
When the application exits, the class's system driver will re-activate the suspended rules and start enforcing them once again.
