The CBDrive class gives applications the ability to mount a CBFS Storage vault as a virtual drive, which requires a certain level of integration between CBDrive and the system itself. In order for a CBDrive-powered application to function correctly, the following prerequisites must first be met on the target machine:
- Windows: The CBDrive kernel mode drivers must be installed; please refer to the Windows Driver Installation topic for more information.
- macOS: FUSE for macOS must be installed with the MacFUSE compatibility layer enabled. Note that the CBFS Storage toolkit does not include FUSE for macOS, it must be downloaded and installed separately.
- Linux & FreeBSD: The system's kernel must have been compiled with support for FUSE.
