WorkerThreadCreation Event

Fires just after a new worker thread is created.

Syntax

typedef struct {
  int ResultCode;
} TcbfCBRegistryWorkerThreadCreationEventParams;

typedef void __fastcall (__closure *TcbfCBRegistryWorkerThreadCreationEvent)(System::TObject* Sender, TcbfCBRegistryWorkerThreadCreationEventParams *e);

__property TcbfCBRegistryWorkerThreadCreationEvent OnWorkerThreadCreation = { read=FOnWorkerThreadCreation, write=FOnWorkerThreadCreation };

Remarks

This event fires just after a worker thread is created, in the context of that worker thread.

This event is optional; it is provided to give applications a chance to perform additional processing when a new worker thread is created, such as allocating per-thread objects.

The component maintains a pool of worker threads and uses them to fire events; please refer to the Threading and Concurrency topic for more information.

The ResultCode parameter will always be 0 when the event is fired. If the event cannot be handled in a "successful" manner for some reason (e.g., a resource isn't available, security checks failed, etc.), set it to a non-zero value to report an appropriate error. Please refer to the Error Reporting and Handling topic for more information.

This event is fired synchronously; please refer to the Event Types topic for more information.
